Self Oscillating Monitors

Fierre self-oscillating fire monitors can be made of carbon steel, stainless steel, or cast aluminum bronze and are available with a 3" or 4" body. Fierre's self-oscillating fire monitors are CE marked according to the Machine Directive 2006/42/CE, they are available Atex certified for Zone 1, 2, 21, 22 and UL listed.

These monitors are equipped with an anodized aluminum self-oscillating hydraulic mechanism, whose hydraulic turbine is activated by a minimal flow diverted from the monitor inlet, requiring no external hydraulic or electrical power supply. The self-oscillating monitor can oscillate within a range of 0° to 340°, adjustable every 20°, with the oscillation angle configurable anywhere within the full 360° operating field. The self-oscillating function can be deactivated by closing the integrated ball valve.

In manual mode, vertical and horizontal movements are controlled via a handle or handwheels, while the standby position can be secured using the locking knobs.

The self-oscillating fire monitor is typically used in petrochemical and industrial environments, the waste treatment industry, heliports, and can be mounted on towers and monitor trailers.
